Home Run Derby/Bake Sale Success!

posted Oct 9, 2018, 6:17 AM by web Eagle   [ updated Oct 9, 2018, 6:17 AM ]

On Friday evening, October 5, the Jamestown Lady Eagles Softball team hosted their first charity event.  The Lady Eagles played a Pink Out game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  That was followed by a bake sale auction and home run derby.  We were able to raise $1,285.00.  It was a wonderful evening full of fun and community for a great cause.

Here are the winners from Friday night's Derby:  Chad Cook (alumni), Alyssa Reynolds (student), Olivia Meisenheimer (student).

Thanks so much to those of you that participated and donated goods to the bake sale auction.

Salad Bar Success!

posted Oct 8, 2018, 8:54 AM by web Eagle   [ updated Oct 9, 2018, 6:20 AM ]

Thank you to everyone that donated produce to our salad bar!  We had great feedback from our students and staff.  It was a wonderful success and we are looking forward to the next two Fridays of the salad bar.   Please remember, if any community member has extra produce they would like to donate to the school, you may send it to the cafeteria on Monday or Tuesday this week and next.  This will allow us time to order additional produce as needed. On Wednesday, October 24, the community members who participate in our salad bar development are invited to join us for lunch at 11:45 or at any lunch shift of their choice as a thank-you for their support.  If you have any questions, please contact the school. Here are some pictures of our happy campers.
